Each year we bait well in advance of the Spring & Fall Hunt maintaining over 24 baits in our Bear Management Area (BMA) which is over 300 square kilometers.
We run a top quality bear hunt and limit the number of hunters each year.

FALL BEAR HUNT
WEEK 1 – TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4th TO TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th, 2018
WEEK 2 – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th TO SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th, 2018
For the 2018 Black Bear Hunt, you will see some exciting new changes:
1st We are changing the name to Adrenaline Bear Hunt.
2nd We have added my son Jeff Hoddinott and Amanda Lynn Mayhew of “Just Hunt” ( a program that airs on Wild T.V. ) to the Bear Management Team to assist with future hunts.
3rd Accommodation for the Black Bear Hunt will be provided in comfortable, lakefront, housekeeping cottages.
4th We will continue to maintain 24-30 bait sites and baiting activities will commence well in advance of any hunter arrivals.
5th Due to the fact that we only receive 6 non-residents certification (33’s) forms, we will only be offering a Fall Black Bear Hunt in 2018. The 2 weeks of the hunt will be:
Tuesday, September 4th/18 to Tuesday, September 11th/18
Saturday, September 8th/18 to Saturday, September 15th/18.
6th We will allow any hunters the opportunity to come in a few days early to set up or stay an extra couple of nights to hunt…the only extra charge will be the price of the cottage rental per night.
7th The cost of the 2018 Black Bear Hunt per person will be $1595 U.S. funds plus taxes (13%). A deposit of $500 is required at time of booking.
